Team BG Law Represents at Los Angeles Regional Food Bank’s “Food from the Bar”

On Saturday, May 16, 2015 a group of BG Law attorneys and staff members attended the annual “Food from the Bar” volunteer day at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in Vernon, CA. Food from the Bar is an annual effort led by the legal community focused on fighting childhood hunger in L.A.

BG Law’s group was so large, 17 strong, that the firm ran its own student backpack assembly line. The student backpack program provides school children throughout the region with backpacks full of food on Fridays so that they and their families do not go hungry over the weekend. School children are among the most likely in the Los Angeles region to not have enough food available to them at home.

BG Law was responsible for packing 1,590 backpacks, and among over two dozen law firms combining to package nearly 5,000 backpacks during the shift.
