Robyn Sokol to Speak at CLA’s 44th Intellectual Property Law Section Institute: IP Without Borders in Las Vegas, Nevada
Robyn Sokol will be a featured panelist at CLA’s 44th IP Institute: IP Without Borders at the Wynn Las Vegas on Saturday November 16, 2019. Robyn will be part of the panel “Avoiding the Crap Out: How IP Intersects with Employment, Estate, and Bankruptcy Laws,” which will address ways to protect IP during and after the employment relationship and examine winners and losers when a party holding IP or licensing IP files for bankruptcy protection. The panel will also examine the Dynamex decision and how a change in the contractor/employee relationship may affect IP protections.
The three-day California Lawyers Association event takes place November 14-16, provides up to 12.5 hours of CLE credit, and features preeminent speakers from leading companies, government agencies and law firms who will share experience and guidance.
