Corey Weber Appointed by the Board of Trustees of the State Bar of California to the Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation (JNE)
BG Law is pleased to announce that Corey Weber was appointed by the Board of Trustees of the State Bar of California to serve as a commissioner on the Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation (JNE) for the 2022-2025 term. Corey and the other new JNE commissioners were sworn in by California Supreme Court Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye earlier this year.
The JNE Commission assists the Governor of the State of California in the judicial selection process, promoting a California judiciary of quality and integrity by providing independent, comprehensive, accurate and fair evaluations of candidates for judicial appointment and nomination. Corey is a litigator with 20 years of experience in bankruptcy, business and commercial litigation. He regularly litigates cases involving fraud, fraudulent transfers/voidable transfers and breaches of fiduciary duty, including in Ponzi scheme cases.
