The “Super Lawyer” distinction honors attorneys who have attained outstanding professional achievement and peer recognition. “Super Lawyers” is an annual rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas. Recognized attorneys are selected through independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations, resulting in a comprehensive list of the top 5 percent of attorneys in each state.
“Super Lawyers” publishes its “Rising Stars” honor roll each year after putting candidates through a multi-faceted selection process consisting of independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations, and identification by a “Super Lawyers” research team prior to admission. At the final stage, a mere 2.5 percent of considered candidates are selected as “Rising Stars.”
