BG Law Sponsors ‘Kohl’s For Kids’ Shopping Event

BG Law employees and family members chaperoned 50 at-risk-youth around Kohl’s Department Store during a holiday shopping spree on Sunday, December 2, 2013. The event, held at the Kohl’s in West Hills, was jointly organized by Kohl’s, New Directions for Youth, and Congregation Or Ami. Each at-risk youth received $100, plus an additional 15% off, to shop for anything in the Kohl’s store. The youth ranged in age from 10 to 16 and, although a little shy at first, quickly warmed up to their chaperones during the shopping phase of the event. Lunch was served for all involved immediately after the shopping spree.
