BG Law Obtains Favorable Settlement for Bankruptcy Trustee

BG Law, on behalf of a chapter 7 trustee, filed an adversary proceeding against the defendants who made claims against the estate based upon their alleged equitable interests in the debtor’s property. The claims litigated in the adversary proceeding involved complex issues of real estate and bankruptcy law. After lengthy litigation and settlement negotiations, BG Law successfully negotiated a settlement agreement with the defendants in the adversary proceeding and thereby maximized the recovery for the estate. As a result of BG Law’s representation, the trustee recovered a significant sum for the estate. The litigation team included Gary Park and Mike Davis.
