Corey Weber Appointed as 2019-2020 Chair of the California Lawyers Association Business Law Section

Corey Weber was selected as the 2019-2020 Chair of the California Lawyers Association (CLA) Business Law Section. Corey’s term as Chair of the Business Law Section will begin after the close of the CLA Annual Meeting taking place October 10-12, 2019 in Monterey, California.

The CLA is the second-largest voluntary bar association in the United States. The Business Law Section is one of the CLA’s largest sections, with over 7,000 members. Established in 2018, CLA is a nonprofit, voluntary organization and the new home of the Sections of the State Bar of California. The Sections of the State Bar of California became part of the CLA in January 2018 pursuant to California State Senate Bill (SB) 36.

The mission of the California Lawyers Association is promoting excellence, diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and fairness in the administration of justice and the rule of law.
