Carolyn Smallwood to Present “How to Create, Manage and Maintain a Paperless Office” at GLA ALA Going Green Kickoff
Carolyn Smallwood will be the speaker for the GLA ALA Going Green Initiative Kickoff on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the Beverly Hills Country Club, presenting “How to Create, Manage and Maintain a Paperless Office.” Smallwood works in a completely paperless office and has transformed firms of all sizes and in all areas of law to less-paper operations since 1991 when she joined ALA (Association of Legal Administrators). The Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (GLA ALA) currently has 350+ members throughout the Los Angeles metro area, and Smallwood is its Vice Chair of Education. The Association of Legal Administrators’ mission is to:
- Improve the quality of management in legal services organizations;
- Promote and enhance the competence and professionalism of legal administrators and all members of the management team; and
- Represent professional legal management and managers to the legal community and to the community at large.
