BG Law Elevates Susan Seflin to Partnership
Los Angeles, CA – February 23, 2021 – BG Law is proud to announce that Susan Seflin has been named a Partner of the Firm, effective immediately. She has significant and comprehensive insolvency and restructuring experience, having represented over sixty chapter 11 debtors (excluding related entities), and has a proven track record of successfully confirming chapter 11 plans of reorganization. Susan also has significant experience with insider litigation and trustee representation, and was recently appointed as a chapter 11 subchapter V trustee for the Central District of California.
Susan joined BG Law in 2013, and quickly demonstrated that she is a passionate advocate for the firm’s clients. “Susan’s work ethic and skills have contributed to countless client successes, and have positioned her to seamlessly enter our Partnership,” said Managing Partner Steve Gubner. “We look forward to more great things from her,” he adds.
Susan received her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law, and her M.B.A. from Pepperdine University School of Business and Management. She received her B.A from the University of California, Berkeley. Susan is an active member of several organizations, including the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors, INSOL Intermational and the American Bar Association (ABA) Business Bankruptcy Committee. She has been recognized as a “Southern California Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyers ® since 2016, and has been named among the “Best Lawyers in America” since 2018.
