BG Welcomes Fashion Technology Partner Gina Bibby
We are happy to announce the addition of new partner Gina Bibby, who helps technology, fashion, fashion-technology and other clients protect innovation through patent, copyright and trademark intellectual property procurement, various commercial agreements and complex litigation. Gina has practiced in the Silicon Valley offices of AmLaw 50 and AmLaw 100 law firms, where she litigated complex intellectual property and other matters and handled intellectual property procurement. She has significant patent litigation and procurement expertise, is a registered patent attorney, and has significant trial expertise in matters involving intellectual property, unfair competition and trade secret misappropriation.
BG Law is pleased to now offer patent protection services to its IP practice, making us a full-service IP firm. Gina’s expertise will open the door for our attorneys to advise Silicon Valley start-ups and other early stage companies, fashion and design brands, apparel manufacturers, and retailers on legal matters involving the convergence of fashion and technology. Technology continues to revolutionize how businesses in the fashion industry operate. From e-commerce platforms to supply chain modernization technologies such as robotics and blockchain, to the use of data analytics and artificial intelligence to evaluate consumer demand and provide apparel fit solutions, to 3D-printed apparel, wearables and smart fabrics, the convergence of fashion and technology presents unique legal challenges that require sophisticated counsel to offer the most comprehensive services.
