Steve Gubner and Corey Weber to Speak at 2016 AIRA Conference

Steve Gubner and Corey Weber will be participating in panels taking place on June 9, 2016 at the 32nd Annual Bankruptcy & Restructuring Conference in Coronado Island, CA, hosted by the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors (AIRA). During the panel “Liquidating Trusts and Efficient Estate Wind Downs,” Steve and his colleagues will discuss alternatives for winding down a post-confirmation estate. The panel will also cover best practices to maximize creditors’ recovery and minimize associated costs, in addition to other common issues that must be addressed and how they affect creditors. Corey will be a part of the panel “So What Makes You The Expert?” which will discuss effective approaches to expert witness testimony, including the impact of rules of evidence and Daubert challenges, focusing on the expectations of counsel and the court.

The annual AIRA conference will take place this year from June 8-11, and will offer in-depth educational sessions, two all-day seminars, and 19 presentations on the latest issues and trends in bankruptcy and restructuring.
