CLE for a Cure

On June 13, 2013, BG Law Partner Jeff Kobulnick, along with UNH School of Law IP Professor Mary W.S. Wong and Anthony M. Beltran, COO/CFO of 101domain.com presented a CLE for a Cure program entitled “The Internet is Expanding: What You Need to Know about New Generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs).” All proceeds from this webinar benefitted the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and its mission to find cures for blood cancers.

The panelists discussed the impact of new gLTDs on brand owners, how we got to this point, where ICANN is heading, available options for trademark owners going forward, logistics, and other considerations for protecting and developing brands online under the new gTLD regime.
